I'm suprised: most critics, directors and even priests/cardinals said it's not a good movie. And mind the fact that it happens in Poland.
Most of critics say that this film is too "hollywood style" and that it focuses on physical aspects of passion while the important thing - the spirituality and intellectual signification - is mostly overlooked.
They said that instead of thinking about the mistery of salvation they had to look at "the bloody meatlof".... and it's a citation from a very righ-winded, church-dipendent newspaper.
I don't think I will go to see this movie.
