God the Middle East is pissing me off...
My mum wanted to go to Israel for my cousin's wedding, but doesn't want to get stuck there. We went for a visit to Israel right when the Gulf War broke out, and she doesn't want to be in that situation again. They wouldn't issue a gas mask to me, 'cause I'm not an Israeli citizen... we got the last plane out of Israel. The world is just too damn crazy these days.

dutch news:
some dude that raped his stepdaughter in his secret SM room cut his own throat in court today, in front of the judge and everybody else. an albanian immigrant held (the dutch equivalent of) a district attorney hostage in another courthouse. he's been shot, the attorney was severely wounded. and the last one: prisoner kills guard. crap. there's going to be some riots here.. |

On the first story from NYC - I think this is the chap who has been a liberal Muslim academic, imprisoned for decades by the theocratic regime and released now because he is terminally ill.
