It's bad enough to skin them, but then to toss them back into the ocean? What if a baby seal found it's momma, dead in the sea, skinless, w/a fvcking bullet in her fvcking head?

I have been sick all day, HATE IT!!!! I have been running fever & feeling like I need to hurl (I haven't, I prob. would feel better if I did) & I want to know why I can't be pampered? Why do I still have to get up & do everything around the house? When guys are sick they lay around the house & do absolutley nothing, expect you to wait on them & grouch if you ask them to do one little thing. Why can't I expect the same?

Ok, ok, it's not really that bad, but it is frustrating. The next time I get sick I am going to a hotel.

That is awful!!!! I have missed the news for the past few days so I hadn't heard about this. Sometimes I wonder what the hell is wrong w/ some people, how could they do this!?!

Hey that would be a great business to open. A hotel for people who just have run of the mill flus and colds and stuff. Not like a hospital or a hostel. Just a hotel where some nurse pops her head in to ask if you want another blanket or a drink. Takes your temp and stuff.

Room service 24/7. Jacuzzi and all the amenities.

2 weeks ago the Canadian government gave out licences to cull 350,000 seals to help rejuvenate fishing stocks. The seal population was rising rapidly, all of which would mean less, more expensive, fish and the seals in turn starving to death on a limited supply that was not being renewed. It's gross, it's ugly, but it was the option chosen by a government and it's people. The people actually doing the slaughter are protecting their livelyhood. Unfortunately.

Pfft. The Inuit who hunt seals use all parts of the seal and a large chunk of their survival depends on this hunt.

Those who are skinning and dumping are idiots, and not likely Inuit (Canadian).

This has notingto do with the Innuit, this was a one off cull that was requested and granted to Canandian fishermen. This is the first time in 15 years they have been allowed to cut back on seal populations.

Work starts back up today. Don't get me wrong, I love my job but I also like not working.
