Anyone ever surf at Typhoon Lagoon? Heres a edit that I made of our trip.
This past spring I have been bustin' my hump in a class at the FAU Downtown Ft. Lauderdale campus. This class is all about multimedia design, video editing and story telling. For my final project I decided to tell the story of my last surf trip to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. My friends and I rented the entire park for the second time in order to surf in the wave pool. Marisa Zoppelt filmed the adventure with a Canon XL-1 miniDV camera, I edited the footage, wrote and recorded the narration and designed a web page where you all can go to view the film. Things to know before viewing the media: There are two places you can view the film: Jacksoville Server Ft. Lauderdale Server YOU MUST HAVE QUICKTIME 6.5 or greater! _http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download You will also have to have a fast internet connection, as the film you are about to watch is "streaming" (it means you are seeing it as fast as you computer can download it) Choose the right version for you, if the high bandwidth version doesn't play well on your machine, try the low, if MPEG4 doesn't play, try the MOV, if all else fails, shoot me a e-mail. **This is a short version of the actual film, there is about 80% more surf footage in the full version, which will be available on DVD in about a week.
