3000th post.
This post is in loving memory of my buddy Matt Martin, who passed away in the prime of his life last week. I wish that I could believe that he was in heaven now with his father who died of cancer when Matt was a teenager...but...alas, I am an atheist/recovered catholic and will just have to do my part to remember him as he was. A hard playing, fast living, loving friend, father and husband... and very very special person who I am honored to have been able to call "one of my best friends".
I'll miss you Matty Magoo. ( heh...we called him Mr. Magoo since he was such a crazy driver ...He insisted however that we stop calling him Matty [which we did to diffentiate between him and I in conversations] after we gradutated from HS.)Fondly, Me. Matty is in the black shirt. *signing off for the night...need to go feel sad for a bit again* But very very warm thanks to all of the monkeys that sent such kind thoughts (and prayers) to my friend, his familly and I. You were lucky to know him, and he was lucky to have a friend like you. Hugs and kisses. |

I want to say something to you... congratulations doesn't seem quite right... This is very touching and I'm sorry that you weren't able to celebrate your 3,000th post in a different way.
I hope your pain and grief pass away soon, and only happy memories remain.

May you find peace in comfort in your memories and your friends. What a lovely way to remember your friend. I know you don't condone prayers, but I say them for you anyway
You know where I am at any given time if you need to chat.
