There are too many horrible people out there with amazing amounts of money. Just because this man happened to obtain his so publicly does not mean that he is any more worse than the rapists who were rich prior to having been jailed (Frieda makes an interesting point).

I'm a bit fuzzy on England's law systems (hell, I'm still trying to figure out the humble-jumble of this country's), but do the victims still have the right to sue him in civil court of moneys he obtained after the fact?

And is money suitable restitution? Is pain lessened by cash?

But don't mind me. I am just a figment of your imagination...
