Schubert: Symphony No. 8 in B minor "Unfinished"
This was his last work I think. There is a lot of emotion in this symphony. It begins with a quiet menacing cello and grows to great cresendos. I listen and wonder what sort of life led to such a work of art that is so sinister, thoughtful, full of life and despair. Despair I imagine from leaving behind such a vibrant vision and passion.
