I have actually seen a lot of famous people since I use to travel quite a bit for work. The people I have seen are:
Ed Asner - Grand Rapids Mi, airport. Stone Cold Steve Austin, and most of the WWWF - were on one of my flights from Grand Rapids to Chicago. Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith - LAX. Laura Dern was on my flight from LAX to Dallas. Wayne Gretsky - I saw him in a bar in Detroit. He is the first person I have bothered for an autograph, the bartender let me serve him and his friends their drinks. Valerie Harper - At the reception desk at a hotel in Hartford. I said hi to her and she looked at me like I was a creature from another planet. Come on, I say hello to everyone. Jeffery Jones - Played the principal in Ferris Buehlers Day Off. He was also in Beetle Juice. I saw him in a restaurant in D.C. Nice guy, he stopped and spoke with us. I hope those kiddie porn charges aren't true The guy that played Quincy (Jack Klugman?) I saw him in a restaurant in D.C. The guy that played the father in the sitcom Good Times. I saw him in D.C. walking down the street. Eric Lynch - I have his autograph. He use to play for the Detroit Lions. I met him at a bar right around my house. Nice guy, when I asked for his autograph, he looked around the bar and asked me who put me up to it. He played football at a local college before he played for the Lions. Drummer dude - He played for a band called the Rythm Corp back in the late 80's. They were a one hit wonder and the song was "Can We Meet on Common Ground". His band played at the college I went to. My dad was the auditorium manager, and I went to see my dad to bum money off of him. While I was waiting he walked up to me and started shooting the shvt. He asked me if I was going to the show that night, and I told him that I would, but I was broke. I thought he was a roadie. He then hooked me up with tickets for the concert, and invited me to come to the party after the show. Well, I would have gone to the party, but I had to get up early the next day for class. A pitcher for some ball team (The Angels? I don't know baseball) - He just gave me his nickname. We partied together in Vegas. I had no idea who he was for the first hour. When the bar closed, he knew of another one to go to. People were stopping him and asking him for his autograph. I asked him what he did for a living and he told me that he played pro ball. He asked me to go to his hotel room with him, and I declined. We parted ways, and he called me about a month later. He wanted to send me a ticket to meet him in Vegas. I turned it down, and never heard from him again. Wow, sorry to have rambled on and on. I must be bored tonight! Last edited by Klynne : 11-08-2004 at 10:06 PM. |
