Ooo. I bet it'll be delightfully disturbing with an undercurrent of delicious eroticism. (I mean, come on - Johnny Depp and chocolate?)

Hey Aud, ditto about the book... for us just insert "James and the Giant Peach" instead. It was my absolutely fav as a kid, must have read it 20 times. ![]()

I hate kids' movies.
I'm not even that keen on kids. I didn't even like kids OR kids' movies when I WAS a kid. And I HATED Willy Wonka, The Movie. Gene Wilder gave me the creeps in everything he was in. The only reason I liked the Ooompa Loompas was that when I saw "Blade Runner" in later years, I realized that there WAS a place for creepy doll-like characters. They were just in the wrong movie. That being said, I do love certain kids. My daughter rocks. My friend Bill's daughter Elizabeth rocks. And there are kids I hear about on here like Bink and Wee Miss Rat and Leo who certainly sound like they would rock. It's all on an individual basis. And I ADORE both Johnny Depp and Tim Burton, and don't see how a collaborative effort there can be anything but terrific. So maybe this will be a good movie!
