Yesterday I assisted in the taking of 6 children (ages ,2 4,6,8,8,and 9 ) to see the Polar Express as part of the 8 year old's birthday extravaganza Then we went to McDonalds for lunch. By now it is 3 pm and I am now extremely broke and tired. But I baked a pineapple upside downcake for the official party, which is later this afternoon.

So far to day I have made coffee, loaded the dishwasher, fed the Ark, and cleaned the bathroom and litter boxes. So far, yesterday was much more fun Later holds great promise however.

Beale, Funky..way to go!

Any time I have gone on a trip, I have missed my family to the point of heartache. 10 minutes after arriving home, I wonder "what was I thinking??".

I went bowling with the family. Ugh! I am not a very good bowler.
I let one fly out of my hand during the backswing and almost knocked down some kids. I think my average was about 80 a game.

We went to Tony Roma's and I had St. Louis Ribs. I had a hankering for some ribs. They were great. I licked my fingers. (Was I supposed to eat them with utensils?)

We got home around midnight and I was ready to fall asleep.
Hee! My average is 84, I found someone that I can out bowl

So, today is a new day, what did you do?

The bf and I drove to Big Rapids to see my dad in a play. On the way, my brother called me. He told me the play started at 2:30 instead of 2:00 (what my dad told me). So I stopped at the auditorium to make sure of the time. Then I took my bf on a tour of my tiny little home town. It did not take long, so we went to one of the bars that use to be my main stomping ground while I was in college. We had a drink, and then went to the play.

I enjoyed the play, and much to my suprise, the bf did too. My dad has not been in a play in several years, so it was enjoyable seeing him on stage again. He has not lost it, he is a very good actor. He almost became a professional actor but decided against it after my older brother was born.

After the play, my dad met the bf. Not sure of what he thinks, I have not called him yet. I also had the opportunity to visit some people that I have not seen in several years. It was nice. They look the same, just older!

After the play, I called my brother, and he, my sis-in-law, and the bf and I went out to dinner. My brother is gearing up for opening day of deer (rifle) season tomorrow. He was a little irked that dad let some bow hunters on the property today. I can see his point, because the deer will be spooked and will have flee the back 60 to the neighbor's land.

Just watching some tv now. BF is snoozing on the couch. It was a very nice day.

Good luck to you Ant, go get em

Today I...
slept, alot.

Woke up real late and watched some PBS documentaries; Coco's Islands and Sand Creek Indian Massacre woo hoo!

Then made awesome saute'd swiss n' mushroom burgers (w/garlic butter hidden inside mmm) and salad for the family.

Considering my husb was in the midst of a "don't bother me" 7 hr marathon of Matrix movies I took the opportunity to clean my piggy daughter's room while she was gone for the night. It really is amazing what the lack of humidity here in Colorado can do... I found a half eaten apple under her bed, god knows how old - completely preserved w/out mold

What a glamorous life I lead!
