They are Pomeranians.
They are about 5-7 pounds. They have tiny little barks and are (atleast mine are) wonderful little pets you can take just about any place. They are a trifle high maintenance as their fur needs to be brushed regularly, but they aren't big shedders if you do this.

I generally prefer big dogs, but Pom's are so ridiculously fluffy that they're cute. I would use mine as a pillow.
