does it help those of us who aren't?

if we're onto the subject of Alex Garland then his second novel, thet tesseract, is far superior to the beach, which i always thought was little more than lord of the flies starring some big kids instead.

top recommendations:
'hard boiled wonderland and the end of the world' or 'the elephant vanishes' by Haruki Murakami

japanese literature is well cool...
