That's a really gross thing to think about.

I lack the necessary time to think about it.

I like to think he's real from what I've read of his posts while lurking.

How is it that anyone can be "totaly convinced" that Malarky is a shadow puppet. No one has "figured out" yet who might be behind a "malarkey-puppet"...and some of the old timers are pretty good at figuring that stuff out. That makes me wonder if Malarkey is perhaps complex enough to be an actual person jsut being himself despite his apparent "simplicity"...maybe he is just "simple".

Suspect strongly...ok, suspicion is natural.
Feel strongly that possibly he might be...ok, everyone is entitled to their feelings.

At what point do strong suspicions and feelings about what someone "might be", entitle be-littleing that person, without proof that the suspicions or feelings are accurate. Obviously if Malarkey is a real person at least some of the peeps on this board would still be nasty as **** to him anyhow, cuz he doesn't seem to meet those peep's intelligence standards to qualify for civil treatment.

What if???...what if Malarky is not a shadow puppet? Malarkey might actually be a person with "special needs" and perhaps not the highest IQ. He might be a person who feels attracted to this board for a variety of reasons. Ze's stuff is fairly attractive, the games, puzzles, videos etc probably appeal to a wide range of IQ's. They combine often deep messages with simple graphics...it's like brain food with sugar added ...and Ze's stuff is generally pretty non-judgemental too (except perhaps when he is being politicaly satirical).
One of the things that appealed to me most when I first discovered Ze's site was the Patrick/stupid flower/thank-you skit (I bought the shirt actually). That was a wonderful piece that screams tolerance and patience. An attractive thing to someone who might have been called stupid most of his life.

Since I have recently been treated to the "you are a stupid boring worthless person" treatment from a (POS) board member who felt strongly that he knew what kind of person I was, I can imagine how a "real Malarky" might feel about being called "unkind things" by people that think they know who he is...bad is how it feels.

*hugs Malarkey*
*cops a feel to see if there is an arm sticking out of his butt*

I think it's hilarious in a mindboggling way that someone wastes time in vengeance or telling someone off. It makes me laugh so hard. Literally, I can't think of anything funnier.

On a sad note, it's probably due to the bipolar meds I am on keeping me on the upswing all the time.

Me personally, I usually believe the best. I find that trolls have neither the staying power nor the intel to last more than 100 posts unless it's to hatemonger.

I believe in you, Malarkey.

You just want a place to call your own. Come on in.

I will say this for Malarkey. Shadow puppet or 100% real person, I have never heard a mean, nasty, hateful, baiting, smug, judgmental, bigoted, smarmy, supercilious or self-righteous word out of him.

That in itself should be worth extra points of some sort. Certainly it is more than I can say for a lot of "real" people I could mention, both on the Internet and living in my house. Including myself.

I know. I can't, either. (Log out, that is.) Maybe Ze's trying to avoid any shadow puppets (whether or not they exist).
