That must have been really scary. I am glad you and the little one are ok.
Your coworker must feel horrid. I'd say they'll never run a red again, even if it wasn't a case of aggresive driving.
I will certainly think a little more about red lights because of your experience. Just yesterday, I watched a yellow turn red as I passed under it. I won't do that today.
