Imo, SNL hasn't been good for a long time, but then I'm old and spoiled because I remember the original SNL, which ROCKED.
It was good during the eras of Phil Hartman, Dana Carvey, Eddie Murphy, Will Farrell, Cherry Oteri, Mike Myers, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler. It was so-damn-funny-you-could-pee-your-pants-laughing with Elaine Newman, Gilda Radner, Jane Curtain, John Belushi, Dan Ackroyd, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray. I think it's the writing though, not the characters or the acting. Like that horrible Downer Debbie skit. Wtf is that??
