My measly two cents: I was pleasantly surprised when LM put this up. I, for one, have spent time here and there browing through the "post our pics" threads to see everyone's mugs. And those threads are loooooonnnnngggggggggggg.

I think it's nice to have it all together, scrapbook-style.

I'm new to this forum; I've been on several other forums for many years. I have met wonderful, interesting people on them, some of whom I've met in person, but few of them affect my real life in any way.

My "friends" are people I've known since I was a kid, and who know me, people I've shared real life experiences with. I am blessed to have many. I love my online friends, but it is NOT the same thing.

It was frustrating being a new member and not knowing what everyone looked like, especially when it was clear from the posts that you all knew what each other looked like.

Then somebody posted a link to one of the pic threads. I found some pics of people I was curious about, and started downloading them to my desktop for my own use, when I thought, "Why not just download everyone's and then post them as mugs!"

Yeah, I have entirely too much time on my hands.

Despite all the criticism, I'm glad I did it. I got a lot of nice pm's from people about it.

And my "Monkey Photos" folder is full of pictures of monkeys, not strangers...just cuz I haven't met all y'all doesn't mean I consider most of y'all strangers.

Besides, you never know when you might need Photoshop ammunition.
