I've seen reports supporting your facts and completely refuting them. I can find sources showing all the progress NCLB has had in major cities. I think it's easy to find some examples of where it's not working and make a big stink about it. But it IS having a positive effect on schools that used to socially promote students. You will get resistence from the teachers unions and I'm sure they are doing a great job pointing out where all the problems are. But... it's a great idea! It's the right thing to do! And when all the kinks are removed and the naysayers are rebuffed, it will be a positive for our country. It's no wonder Kerry found fault with everything before the election. But... unemploment is down, the economy is up, minority home ownership is way up. And if you read the following - you'll get a better picture of what's going on in Iraq - clearing away the media bias.
