Unmade Bed = Healthier??

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/4181629.stm

Failing to make your bed in the morning may actually help keep you healthy, scientists believe. Research suggests that while an unmade bed is also unappealing house dust mites thought to cause asthma and other allergies.

A Kingston University study discovered the bugs cannot survive in the
conditions found in an unmade bed.

Researcher Dr Stephen Pretlove said: "We know that mites can only survive by taking in water
from the atmosphere.Something as simple as leaving a bed unmade during the day can remove moisture from the
sheets and mattress so the mites will dehydrate and eventually die."

In the next stage of their research, the scientists are testing 36 houses around the United
Kingdom to investigate how people's daily routines affect mite populations.

Any Volunteers????

This proves that it's healthy to sleep with a big boner.

maybe the scientists could prove that beds made
by someone else are ok, just not if you have to
make it yourself.
ok boffins, over to you...

I didn't know that required proof. I thought it was just a well-known fact.

I never make my bed.

Ever.

IN Europe, quilts are generally hung out the windows first thing and aired for about an hour before the bed is made. Gives you a nice fresh bed and floofily made up at the same time.

All my life, I've been healthy. *basks*

What about an unmade bed w/a wet towel on it though?

errrm, have you actually been to europe? cos i'm
there now and there is a distinct lack of bedding
flapping in the (somewhat icy) breeze.

an unmade bed with a wet trowel on it would be
unhealthy, i think we can agree.

Yeah, the cement tends to get in really uncomfortable places...
