All okay here... I just called my friend Laura, who had said she and her son were going to take a train ride downtown one of these days (they live in Glendale - he loves 'Thomas') and they're just fine... Unfortunately, a lot of people who work for my mom's company take that train to work... they're waiting to hear.

train wreck alwasy freak me out. My lil bro drives trains for a living, you would be surprised how often they derail. It always rips at me when they happen..

Heard on the radio on the way home that it was caused by a guy who intentionally parked his SUV on the tracks in a suicide attempt. He lost his nerve and ran from the car.
He'll be facing 10 homocide charges now, fvcker.

that guy is so fvcked! What an asshole...you know, a whole frieght crew got killed that was just chillen on the tracks waiting for the other train to pass? They weren't even moving when the other train tore into them after they hit that God damn SUV....

why couldn't he just lie on the tracks like everybody else...fvcker....

I think a better solution would be for him to have to meet all the families and friends of the people whose deaths and injuries he was responsible for, and to get some therapy. Putting someone like him to death isn't what the death penalty is for - it's supposed to be for people who are resolutely non-contrite and non-reformable - people who somehow have become monsters, who will never be able to contribute in a positive way to society. People do really stupid things when their brains are drug-addled... I just heard a story about the guy who kidnapped Frank Sinatra's son. He needed the money; he convinced himself it was okay to do the kidnapping because he planned to invest the money and pay Sinatra back. The guy, who served his time and is now a successful millionaire, acknowledges that his judgement was significantly influenced by the drugs he was doing...
Put the guy in jail - let him clean up - give him something useful to do.
