I have long supposed that what people really want, at base, is to be known: anticipated, understood, recognized, validated. I'm not sure if it would be more satisfying coming from Googlezon, or another human being. For lots of people today it's enough if it comes from a dog, done convincingly enough. It's conceivable.

This eventuality is beginning to be discussed in other venues - the fact that information is now already being distributed by many sources other than the "trusted" vehicles of television, radio and the giant news corporations... We've already begun to question the validity of the news we receive from even these sources. It seems (one hopes) that before something like Epic happens, there will be something in place to gauge the worth of the information being distributed. Hard to know what that would be, though...
