You have to be smooth with your words and grasp their attention like right away... like... HEY YOU! yeah, like that. Also, proper use of smilies is important. You really don't want to misuse a smiley like th is. It makes people think, "what the heck was that?" You want to either start your sentence with a smiley you get you point across right away like this:

You stupid son of a Bleep!

or you may want to hold off and offer them something up in the end like this:

You stupid son of a Bleep! <--- see that means I'm kidding, I fooled you.

Maybe display how creative you are like this:

Hey, B bby what's up? or check out those B BIES!

And sometimes the smilies are not close enough together and it then really looks stupid. Anyway, you get the "just" of it. With a little practice everyone can be a high profile poster. Just a professional's take on it.
