Who said we're all attention whores? I like reading about everybody!

I'm an original boomer born to a Wave and an aviator. After 20 years of Navy life my Dad accepted an offer from Grumman in LI during my 15th year. Survived 28 years in NY, some in NYC, but most working with the horsey set in Huntington LI. Plus a fabulous year in the British Virgin Islands on an 2-masted wooden schooner as cook. Then 10 years in Oyster Bay.

I'm now a damn Yankee - one who comes South and stays. The right stuff never asked, so I'm still single and don't plan to change that.
