I have finished "Hawaii" by James Michener. If any of you love acurate historical tales, as I do, I highly recommend this and all his other works. He tells stories that move me as no other writer does.

Sure is. It's about a boy that finds a house where all his dreams can come true just by thinking about it. BUT there a horrible secret lurking within the owner of the house...ooooooo scary. It's great though I love this book. The latter of your information doesn't suprise me really. He has some really fsked up material. I'm not sure wether or not he is clean either.
My favorite of Barkers works is "Weaveworld" a must read if you are a fan. I enjoyed his Books of Blood, very Lovecraftian.

I'm reading The Last Juror by John Grisham. I am a total Grisham addict. He's great at painting the picture of a small redneck town....Clanton, Mississippi. I am from a small town in Texas, so I know that alot of what he writes is accurate from first-hand experience.
