OK so we saw three wolves, two bears and an elk.

Zaf and I were kind of over the bear but Trisherina was frozen and all she could do was expletive for a few minutes. Apparently they are not that commonly seen and I am some sort of wildlife magnet. Hmmmm.

Meanwhile, back at Trisherina's house.

Oh wowowowowow. Mountains wowowowowow. The scenery today was What I Came To See. Words cannot describe, eh. Trisherina had the fabulous idea yesterday of driving out to Miette Hot springs and we three had a three hour dip in hot sulphurous water. It was raining which actually was an advantage as the water was 38C - so we kind of dipped up and down at the appropriate times.

Zaftig, Trisherina and I had breakfast in the sun in magnificent Jasper followed by some serious shopping and then it was time for us to part - all over too soon but worth every cent and drop of effort.

Zaftig, it should be noted, has a swell constructed reality person story to tell, complete with kickin' dance moves. She's a lot of fun -- a very genuine, open, bubbly young woman. Sim is one lucky guy (but he's smart enough to know it, of course).

Snake practically bought out the Mountie Store! (Sadly, they do not sell actual six footer gents in red coats there.)

Today the plan is to go to the dreaded West Edmonton Mall. Snake got a serious gleam in her eye hearing about FasTrack Performance: Italian-made go-karts on an Indy-style indoor track.
