I will take that as a compliment I have recently found myself being a big ass grouch about everything. Maybe it is the stress of getting my house ready to sell.

Don't get me wrong, I am still going after the landlord for not being registered. There are things seriously wrong with that house. Big time electrical problems that I have witnessed or heard about. One guy moved out because everytime he plugged into an outlet sparks would fly, and then his tv and stereo were fricken fried. Of course, he did not have renters insurance. Most people don't purchase it. So they are screwed.

It is nice having harmony with the people in the rental house. We shall see how long that lasts. But, I do have respect for them.

We do get the storms and rain, but it is has not been enough.

We were up in St. Ignace a few weeks ago, stayed at the Holiday Inn on the beach - we've stayed there before. Only this time, the "beach" was some 20 feet wider than it used to be. The water levels are so low. These mild winters are killing us - there's not enough snow, so the ground just isn't getting the water it needs and we're not getting the melt off in spring.

I watch the NOAA website - every few days it will say "40% chance of showers" and they never seem to materialize. I'm really hoping all these tropical storms and such are going to send some storm systems our way this fall. I don't even want to think about what's going to happen if this continues.
