I have an empty studio apartment in downtown manhattan with no furniture that can house 1 to 2 families for up to 10 days. There is a kitchen and some utensils. Please only respond if you are a hurricane victim. Families with children preferred.
Pets OK: YES Smoking OK: no Handicapped accessible: no Near public transit: YES too bad none of those folks have computer access, there seems to be some pretty good deals here.

There are places around Houston where evacuees can go to get info like this. Several churches are taking names of people and matching them with housing.
