Going back over your posts here I can only assume that you must be Infowarrior. Working in a NASCAR reference and putting the prisonplanet.com link in your user info is was the tell (although you might be Mutha, definitely not one of "The Enemy" or you would have been meaner). Be nice around here, I don't know if these folks are prepared for the level of cruelty we are used to There is one guy here named JesusTitties who would have fit right in with us over on FB.

I guess Jerry got tired of funding our little crap flinging festival over on FB, I can't really blame him, we weren't getting much accomplished. I don't come around here often but it is an interesting board.

So it'll be back up some time or another. In the meantime me and spawn are hanging out here in the meantime. Deus and Xaffer signed up too. ali is hanging out here under the name milton. You're right, this forum is purty cool too.

Well, it seems that I am allready a member at the GWB.org forum under the name "Asimov". I signed up there back in April and forgot about it. While I may post a bit, I'll probably just wait until FB is back up. That's my home away from work

On Mondays, NPR is running a series called "This I Believe," for which various contributors read a short (500 word) essay.

This morning was Penn Jillette, of Penn and Teller.

Here's the audio, in Real Media...

... and here's the text.

Thanks for passing that on, Smarty. A certain person I'm married to will really enjoy it.

Thought

Death is but is not lasting.
To pass a dead bird,
The notice of it is,
Yet walking on
Is gone.
The thought remains
And thought is all I know of death.

Gregory Corso

I believe that it takes much more faith to deny the existence of God than it does to embrace it.

Thanks for sharing this, SP - I went back and read some of the old essays - amazing. Did you know that anyone can contribute?
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/s...toryId=4538138

Just click on "Contribute an essay"

I'd Love to see several of us submit essays - I mean, if they really want to hear from people from all walks of life - why not from us?
