urosthenic n. A secretly manufactured isotope of arsenic that is the main ingredient in green hair dye. Its atomic weight gives this chemical a highly fixative property and also allows it to reflect a mean green wavelength of light. Unlike its well-known cousin, it has managed to stay under the EPA's radar. The word in the underground punk scene, however, is that Manic Panic's Snappy Apple (green) dye is providing several unfortunate victims with permanent mental vacations.
