I am now on chapter Nighttrain in "Ghostwritten", another work by David Mitchell.

This is the second or first book by the author.

I've skipped a few pages and think I'll be disappointed by the ending.

I know that fiction is usually rated by the quality of the writing- I am more interested in the final chapter. I like an exclamation point at the end of a book. The last book I read that had an excellent, Karmadic (deserving) ending was Silas Marner. My favorite authors are Marguez, Vonnegut and e.e. cummings.
