I am spoiled, too!
I got a sewing machine from my folks...totally excited! And my honey got me: Three original pieces of art A poster An oil heater to warm my cold room An allergy reducing machine A pedicure machine A new microwave A griddle A George Foreman Grille A Sonicare toothbrush A beautiful sweatshirt and tee shirts A gorgeous necklace A calendar And his son got me a DVD I'd wanted. My home is much homier thanks to them...just as my life is much sweeter thanks to them. I am overwhelmed with gratitude... |

My haul:
couple of turtlenecks 5 (five! do people think I'm that lazy?!?!) pairs of pajama pants a new Dustbuster (must-have in a cat household) season 3 of Northern Exposure various and sundry college alma mater(s) paraphernalia gift cards to Pier One, Barnes & Noble, and Victoria's Secret home-roasted coffee and fresh homemade pomegranate jelly ( )a Christ on a Cracker (also )and, finally, THE 'RENTS - SURPRISE - PAID OFF MY STUDENT LOANS!!! All seventy million bajillion dollars of them! Now what do I do? Option, options! There's no giant, decades-long monthly student loan payment looming in my future. I think I'm going to buy a house. ![]() |

d'oh! thank you note: dear auntie beryl, thank you for that fiver you gave me for sweets. i was going to put it towards a bottle of wine, but unfortunately, in a drunken stupor, i forgot my keys and had to call out this emergency locksmith chap who took a 300 pounds bribe not to come back at a later date and steal all my valuable underwear. thanks anyway, queenie ![]()

tehe! and i just called my flatmate, who's away at the moment, who locked herself out of our flat a couple of weeks ago... she called the property agents emergency line (which i didn't know about). they organised a locksmith for free...
bugger. oh, and our flat turns out to be disturbingly easy to get into... ![]() |
