Free Calls to the UK, Japan and Mexico every Weekend in July AND if you have Skype in or out, I forget, Free Calls local and LD calls 24/7 in the US until December 2006. They charge about $30 a year if you want to buy a local phone number in the US. But if money is tight and you have cable or DSL it's worth looking into. Bad part is no 911 access, less you program it LD and your computer is on 24/7, and if your net service is down so is your phone. The real nice thing is if you have family that can't afford to call or they are ludites and refuse to get a computer you can get a local number in any state.
