I use vinegar and baking soda on the window sill where one of the cats sometimes takes a piss. its nice foamy action lifts the urine away!
I have a bed that i had squash bugs in over the summer that is now empty because we were all worried that they might be all eggy and lingering in the soil. can we use the bed as is or should we treat it with something besides the liberal pouring of diatomaceous earth i threw on there after ripping out the goopy remains of my zucchinni and cukes?
i hate those ****ers! grr..

Oh man..does this mean I can't let the kids make vinegar/baking soda volcanoes anymore??

Or that I shouldn't clean my kitchen drains using this method?

Yes, you can divide them. Cut them at the narrow sections not thru the fat part of the tuber. Where I live, I have to bring them in for the winter and store them in the basement. Is it warm enough where you live that you can keep them blooming all year?
