extremely loud and incredibly close, by jonathan safran foer.
i read this book for a lecture/discussion series, and i had high hopes. it is about 9/11, and i really wanted to like it, or more. but overall, i was disappointed. it had its moments, but not enough to sway me. ive mentioned the usual rules, by joyce maynard, in my "books that have moved you" thread. it is also about 9/11, and i recommend it. peace out!
