What is "old"??

cos then you don't feel old like other people who were, at
one time, together.



age is relative, just like beauty and intelligence.

mostly, it seems to be about going to the doctors with increasing
regularity.

Yep, same here

Keys I search on a regular basis (most time they stick in the lock already... at work the desk of my colleague is always a good place to start), but my classic is to not find my glasses - when they are actually on my nose. Quite an achievement when basically blind w/o glasses

LOL - dunno but something like that my gran also used to say once or twice. So Craig, YOU are still way too young for that!

I agree totally! - except for intelligence that is somehow a quantity one can measure. It's different though with how people connect intelligence with their actual doings/decisions and again very different if they can include some amount of emotional intelligence (working among ultra-geeks I miss latter quite often)

Then I was old like an dinosaur this spring, had to check out up to 3 docs daily... then after 4 weeks they finally had figured out by exclusion principle that these more or less non-stop migraine attacks I had came most likely from a menengitis caused by a previous flu. By then I was already tip-top healthy again....

My lil bro (20 1/2) and me yesterday concluded we're going old. No, seriously He told me that Raimonda ("my" cat who like "his" one - named Molly - stayed behind at our mom's cos she's got that house out in the wilderness) has died recently ( ). We tried to figure when we got our cats and found that was 12 years ago and that it is already 10 years since I moved out... crass!

I've done that, but mine were in the freezer. I've also been known to run around looking for my glasses or sunglasses when they are perched on top of my head.

The older I get, the older what I think of as "old" gets. My mom no longer seems old, and the age at which my father died (53) now seems ridiculously young. I also find that I don't think of myself as being my age. People my age are supposed to be settled and mature. I meet people my age and they seem much more grown up than me. I meet people 10 years younger than me and think, "oh, they're about my age". Weird.

Me too. But the aging process seems to proceed so much more rapidly than it did in my twenties. Nowadays when I look in the mirror, I try to think "Okay, this is not great, but you look a lot better than you're going to next year."
