Background
Visual arts teacher working with at risk students in an urban environment who face daily challenges in life, feelings of failure and apathy without hope into students/apprentices who hunger for knowledge and creativity, who find enthusiasm for learning, become self-motivate and active in their community. (Yes, I am a miracle worker and) I do this though the creative visual arts and by writing grant proposal to support their funding. I am currently working on a proposal for a creative production team in the burgeoning field known as viral video.

Sample Set
This relatively new artistic medium, growing by immense proportions, will soon dominate the visual arts. It is an environmentally friendly and an economically feasible means of artistic communication and expression. Understanding the variety this medium offers, how it works, the fields of operations that are available; both creatively and financially, will have a great impact upon the lives of these students. Apprentices who agree to work within this realm will have an edge on the future, learn artistic forms of communication that affect their community, the political landscape and most importantly have the potential to set responsible and high standards for their future.
