i feel a certain fundamental irony in this image, as our besocked/besandaled friend poses with "the noid." the characters famous tagline is, of course, "avoid the noid," and our friend seems to be experiencing the onset of the irony as perhaps he realizes that his socks/sandals combo should be equally aversive, and yet somehow he's managed to embrace both.
