i haven't figured out yet. it's not where i grew up anymore. and as long as i've been living in apartments i haven't allowed myself to really regard myself as "home." we're buying a house and hopefully that will be "home" but it's yet to be determined how long that will take.
i feel homeless most of the time.

I had a strange dream last Sunday.
In my dream, my friend is pointing at the setting sun, and she says "That is where home is." So I think to myself "Well, we are currently in Detroit*, she is pointing to the setting sun, which is East, and France is East of Detroit. So that makes perfect sense - home is that way." It is only when I woke up and recounted the dream that I realized that in reality the sun sets in West. I guess I'm a bit confused as to where home is right now *I've never been to Detroit, but, hey, isn't that what dreams are for ? |
