I had a dream that a giant came along and ripped up a birch tree that was growing in my garden (but doesn't in real life).
The next morning I noticed that the birch tree across the street was gone. Yay, I'm nearly psychic ![]() |

The other night I had a dream where I met up boy I knew back in elementary school. In the dream, he had gotten a sex change, and spent most of the time complaining to me about how stressful it is to be pregnant.

I dreamt I looked up Lenny Henry's age on the Internet and he was 90!
(okay, okay, it was only mildly disturbing) |

^no more tv before bed for Hfoxy.
I dreamed I was driving the old car we had in the beginning. I think it was Christmas. The boy was in my dad's old house with everyone else, and I think I was just moving the car to a new spot, not really going anywhere. The brakes barely worked and I was out of control for a few seconds, but I had been moving slowly enough that it was okay, just got bumped a bit. I got out and looked at the front tires -- they were like Transformer feet and were on small rolling platforms --aha, that's why the brakes hadn't worked, I thought. It hurt, but I lifted the car a bit and removed those, and folded the toes of the feet under so that they were on little caster wheels. I was puzzled about why I had forgotten that the tires were like that. As I tried again, it quickly became obvious that driving on small plastic casters instead of big steel belteds was untenable. I barely had more control than before, and those pitiful wheels were getting shredded. |

I'm back in the giant mansion I've been living in for many dreams now, finally beginning to work up the courage to use some of the more spacious rooms, but I'm worried that they are so far away from the rest of the house where the children are. Something feels wrong in them and I don't feel at ease. The room should feel comfortable and beautiful, but something terrible and Manson-familyish happened there and it lingers.
That one room especially - with all the windows - is still haunted, and alternates between being benign enough to actually enter, and being more terrifying than ever once I'm in there. I'm always drawn to it, though, and always feel compelled to do battle with it. This time, my oldest sister (that I am estranged from) shows up for the first time ever. She marches into the room, pushes the bed away from the wall as if she's been there before, and pushes open a false wall revealing a hidden room. This is unprecedented. The room is dark gray, windowless. There is a square pit of some kind in the middle of it, framed by red wood. It's really evil.
