I'd like to announce that in a couple of hours it will be Katie's birthday. She will be nine in human years, which by current methods of counting such things (first two years = 20, then five for every one calendar year) means she is 55 in terms of her expected lifespan. I think she looks younger. But I am biased, because I want her to live forever. And as you can see, she is very good at conserving her energy.

I have a new haircut that I am very happy with.

Also, there is a stronger possibility that we may be getting a new computer in the next couple of months. Hooray for that, since it would be nice to have a computer that is compatible with my camera... and everything else, really.

I'm getting snowed under by work at this rate and procrastinating on the internet isn't helping. From now on I won't be posting before 6pm +10GMT on weekdays and only at lunchtimes on weekends/days off. I don't know if anyone pays that much attention to when people post but if I break my new rule, mentally kick me under the table, okay?
