Here is a good link for anyone else as ignorant about B.A.S.E. jumping as I was before I crash landed on this thread. Naw, I'm ok. Just a few cyber-cuts and bruises.

This is amazing video, Zero, but can you answer a few questions for me:
1. Do the jumpers have to go back to hunt for their jettisoned skis? 2. Are any of the people shown in this video still living? 3. Where can I find a beginner's trail? |

no of course not. we send eager & green-around-the-gills beginners up into the foothills to retrieve ours skis for us. and they have to clean them thoroughly. and then kneeling, the novice/beginners must ritualistically strap them back on ours feet for us as we relax with a couple of beers in menatal preparation to laugh in the face of danger once more. |

^^ here's something totally off topic
but it made mo chuckle just now mo's husband is a former arborist and he invented a climbing device that is both an acender and a decender coming soon to a store near you. here's the funny part it: falls in the category of "fall protection" umbrella term its raining men but they are not worried they are fully protected ![]()

Here's some very laid-back base jumping
