1. the condition of being told off by a bluestocking 2. walk heavily (and noisily!) in blue stockings Ysobel schtroumpfed up and down the room; with considerable skill she even managed to make some noise by shuffling her feet, hoping to demonstrate her irritation with the world in general. |

Vernon was schtroumpfed on a regular basis after he began to wear that burgundy silk smoking jacket he retrieved from the dumpster behind the Ritz-Carlton last June. |

schtroumpfed sh*t-trump-fed when playing spades and bidding "low", to be forced to take a spades trick because your partner can't cover you.
After Abby led the three of spades, Billy, my partner, got a look on his face that I knew well. He shook his head slightly as he laid down the four. Charisse cackled as she put down the two. At that point, looking at the five in my hand, I knew my low was schtroumpfed.

schtroumpfed - the sound made by the closing of a very expensive car door.
The shouted questions were cut off as the limousine door schtroumpfed distinctively closed.
