I am back to giving Fred pills. It really is seasonal. He goes through it in the spring and fall. The meds work, but, it is no fun giving a cat a pill. No fun at all.

wrap the cat in a cushy bath towel and hold the towel firmly wrapped around him or her while you open the mouth and pop the pill in. still no fun but at least it doesn't result in conversations at work about how you got those scratches.
