it's shockingly beautiful. i went there for the first time to teach at an art and theatre of the oppressed project. it was so spectacular, for the first time i understood why people would want to leave the city.

One more week.
One last week of work before I go on my 10 day vacation. Woo Hoo!!!
Ah, Mexico. It sounds so simple I just don't know. (don't even know the words to that song) Any ways, I hope that were we are staying didn't get rocked to bad from that huricane a few weeks back. Maybe I will be inspired to do another painting for you all to see. |

Well, the rockies certainly don't suck for scenery! I took a train trip through last winter, and it was gorgeous. Didn't have time to go to the hot springs, though.

That sounds like fun (for you)!
I used to ski when I was little bitty. My family lived in Denver. They still go to Utah every spring, but I skip it. I took a few years off and never really got back in the hang of it. I'm just not sure that people who will willingly throw themselves down the side of a mountain with big akward things on their feet are sane ![]()

my mom kept trying to convince me to take a year off of school, move to the foot of the slopes, live in my car, teach skiing and be a ski bum.
still wondering why i didn't... -st. |
