They didn't say. I just assumed. Hell no I will smoke now when I still struggle to breathe. I did get 2 of those inhaler things. I can't wait till I'm better. Until then, I will bite the head off every sucker that comes my way. GNAAAW GNAAAW!

The one I have with me has a blue socket. It’s called Bricanyl. I have another one at home that has a red socket. I believe that it has more to do with medication then instant relief. I think it’s some cortisone thing. I’m very impressed by how well and quickly they work.

I’m instructed to use them for a month. Do you have to use them all the time or just when you have a problem?

i use pulmicort (black socket) (a corticosteroid called budesonide) every morning and evening, and oxis (blue/green socket) every morning and evening as well. oxis is a bronchodilator, but cannot be used for asthma attacks. i have to use oxis 10 minutes before the corticosteroid, because it expands the surface of my lungs a bit and the corticosteroid can do its work a lot better.

if i have a real asthma attack, i drink 5 cups of espresso coffee and eat some caffeine pills.. that usually does it..

edited to add: oxis is a formoterol

I have tried to avoid coffee because I felt like it wasn't good for me. So coffee is a good thing eh? Can you explain that?

caffeine gives your body a boost.. your throat will get more dry and it's easier to breathe..

try it if you have a cold.. if you're coughing really bad, drink two cups of coffee (no milk, no sugar) and after a couple of minutes the coughing will be significantly less.
