Since I was about three, my mom has let me (and eventually my sisters) decorate zillions of sugar cookies. We usually give them to people along with several other types of sweets as little gifts. Anyway, I have a brave mama. Sticking us at the kitchen table with cookie sheet after cookie sheet of raw cookies and every imaginable color of sugar sprinkles always resulted in little girls too full to eat dinner and a mess that wouldn't be fully cleaned up for weeks. We loved doing it though. Actually, my mom e-mailed me the other day to let me know she's saving a chunk of sugar cookie dough for me to cut and decorate when I get home this year
