Not w/a DD cup they don't.

Height on a man doesn't matter. Do you want to know why? B/c it won't matter when he's naked underneath me.

not that i'm worried... honest
height is only a consideration when it comes to playing hoops.

otherwise it's not size but technique that matters.

I have never and will never wear high heals, they hurt like hell, and I cannot walk in them. They are SO bad for your feet.

all about high-heeled shoes part one

if high heels are well made & fit properly, they will not kill your feet. just like any other shoe including sneakers, a good pair of heels will be balanced properly so that, although your weight will be more towards the front of your foot than in a flat or low-heeled shoe, you will also have weight going down through the heel. [btw: back problems have everything to do with weak abdominal muscles; strong abs + good posture = no back pain] the arch of the shoe needs to conform to the arch of your foot in order to support the foot properly -- very important -- most shoes don't do this or people buy the wrong size so that the last of the shoe doesn't conform the shape of their sole -- that spells disaster for one's feet. as sistermagpie said if your foot slips forward you've in the wrong size shoe. the body of the shoe should also conform to the shape of your foot being neither to tight [there's the rub] or too large [watch out for the gap] -- this holds true even if the body of the shoe is strappy. shoes should fit like a glove.

all about high heeled shoes part two

as to squeezing the ball of the foot or squishing the toes together, i wouldn't put on a pair of pointy shoes let alone wear them even if you put a gun to my head. if you look @ the pixs of my shoes on my flog [n.b. not all the shoe pixs on my flog are pixs of my shoes & feet -- i take shoe shots of other people's shoes but that's another story] you will see that all my shoes are very roomy up front. my foot is rather wide in the front & definitely narrow in the back and from all those years of dancing i did, the bones are dense & the muscles developed -- making my little feet not so little. i must be able to wiggle my toes in a pair of shoes or i will not buy them.

all about high heeled shoes part three

most of my high-heeled shoes have heels with girth -- similiar to the heel on the character shoes that broadway showgirls wear. however, my black strappy sandals, as you can see on my flog, are true spikes but i'm quite capable of walking in them -- thursday night we walked from our theater @ 65 st/amsterdam ave to the restaurant @ 81 st/columbus ave & that would be almost a mile [16 street blocks plus the three avenues {1 ave = 2 st blocks}= 20 blocks = 1 mile in nyc] and then after dinner i walked another 16 blocks back to my apt.

i almost always wear high heels when i am working one of our events -- i find that it is extremely helpful -- when i'm wrangling people, dealing with their problems or shooting them -- to be able to look them straight in the eyes.

i only wear heels and my feet are very much ok! i refuse to wear shoes that i can't walk in... heels or no heels.

( i'm not one of those people that carry their shoes to work in a little baggy and wear running shoes because they can't walk in their strappy little idiot shoes... )

you go girl

however i'm one of those idiots -- although i don't carry my shoes -- i have a shelf full of shoes [in boxes, bien sur] in my office [a perks of having your office in the company's storage room -- lots of shelf space] & i walk to work in one of my pairs of sensible shoes -- never sneakers which i only wear for athletic activities -- & change into my heels for our evening events -- and then back into sensible shoes for the walk home

except when i know i'll be in a cab or car...

i must say my little hike up to calle ocho with mike judge was a tad difficile -- i had expected we'd have a car or at least get in a cab -- but no he wanted to walk .

i just meant to say: shoes are made for walking, nothing else, and should be sensible always. that doesn't exclude them from being nice to look at.
