yeh you'd think that in this day and age somebody would have invented everlasting sock resilience. but no. and some of the bastards actually do the opposite over time and become restrictive, resulting in deadly ankle strangulation.

Oh, socks! I have size 39, and socks are sold in either size 35-38 or 39-42. However, the smaller size fits me well till about 25x laundry and the bigger ones stay too big, even after w hours in the dryer. So complicated.
