bollard - (fr. bollarder - "to dance upon tiptoes") a steamy passe deux of seduction made briefly but wildly popular in 1952 by transgender ballroom dance champions "Grace and Hardly." There is no filmed record of this dance, unfortunately. It was said to be extremely complicated and difficult to master, as it involved skillful maneuvers exclusively on the balls of their feet to create the illusion of dancing on the storm-tossed deck of a boat.

bollard - a polish delicacy made with eggwhite that ran out of eggs that cracked open during boiling, custard and turnips; usually served in crystal teacups on easter monday using eggs that have been blessed by the local priest

I'm just gonna pre-award Marcus Bales with the "Pandering to the wrong Judge" award for his entry:
bollard - slang term for sexual satisfaction

After their session with Uncle Dinz, the Nolan sisters were really bollard.

And...what the hell...I'll also pre-award the Multiple Definition Post Disqualification...cuz he won't be able to resist after all.

bollard - to be predetermined not to have won a contest on the basis of past performance; antonym: ceded.

Marcus was reluctant to enter a Coffee-judged round of The Dictionary Game because he knew he'd be the first bollard, while Brynn, because of the spectacular nude photos of herself she'd sent to Coffee, knew she'd be the first cede.

bollard - Lead blocks used to adjust the buoyancy of an empty cargo ship.

Captain O'Malley had devised an ingenius scheme to break-even on his return trips: organizing affordable weight-watcher convention cruises to the Persian Gulf. In addition to being a reasonably lucrative venture, it avoided the hassle of loading and unloading the bollard by hand.

bollard

Obsolete word for testicles used in Middle Earth and by The Sex Pistols for an album title back in the days when they were known as The Intercourse Weapons.

Never Mind The Bollards, It's The Intercourse Weapons!

Thanks for the earrings; they're perfect!!

bollard A half-cup of hot beverage that you left alone while finishing a couple of last-minute chores but drink anyway because while it's cold and a little disgusting, you really need the caffeine.

With an airy shrug, Simonne gulped down the bollard of tea, put the cup in the sink, flicked off the lights and herded her boys out the door.

bollard very very perturbed.

The thankless job Barbara had as association treasurer over the years really bollard her when one member's comments and criticism paired with lack of service and faith, made her think, it's okay; jerks need to be treated differently.

Any thoughts? Bueller?
eh, miles is pretty good, i actually can play one of his songs , cuz we did it in our jazz band. but ya louis is just pretty much amazing. talking about mainstream of course, plenty of other trumpet players that are awesome. uhh i can't remember his name but the dude from blood sweat and tears is awesome. but i'll play a nice balladish thing...
*playing Freddie the Freeloader from Miles Davis*
okay there we go, all better now. (i know it's not a ballad, i said balladish, it's slowish, so ya w/e)

*Master jedi, are you perhaps in the wrong thread? This is the Dictionary Game, not "Watcha' Listenin' To?" You'd better take that nonsense somewhere else because I'm sure Coffee will be very upset if he thinks we're chatting. I shouldn't even be telling you this right now, and I hope it doesn't get me in trouble.
