Lotsa cleaning and cooking today!

I took some of your suggestions and added some of my own. This is just today's list:

Totally Addicted to Bass- Pure Tone
Send me an Angel - Erasure
Respect - Erasure
I love to Hate you - Erasure
Shiny Disco Ball - Who da Funk
Personal Jesus - Marilyn Manson
Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy- Big and Rich (Yeah, I know it's country but it's an awesome song)
I turn to you- Melanie C
Cowtown - TMBG
Someone keeps moving my chair - TMBG
Yeah! - Usher
Hey Mama - Black Eyed Peas
1985 - Bowling for Soup
Blister in the Sun- Violent Femmes
Gone Daddy Gone - VF
Confessions- VF
L'italiano- Toto Cutugno (club mix)
Ignition - R Kelly
Down in It - NIN
Head Like a Hole - NIN
I wanna Be Sedated - The Ramones

I know, there seems to be no flow, but I just went crazy.. . . I'm off to clean and bake. Then some relaxing music . after.

There is no music good enough or bad enough that I would call it good music to clean to. xD I don't clean.

Talking God I love WINMX

Went to a party the other night
All the ladies were treating me right
Moving my feet to the disco beat
How in the world could I keep my seat

All of a sudden I began to change
I was on the dance floor acting strange
Flapping my arms I began to cluck
Look at me..I'm the disco duuuuuuck

[dd] Ah get down mama, I've got to have me a woman, ha ha ha ha ha
[bs] Disco, disco duck
[dd] Got to have me a woman
[bs] Disco, disco duck
[dd] Oh get down mama
[bs] Try your luck, don't be a cluck, disco
[dd] Disco
[bs] Disco
[dd] Disco
[bs] Disco
[dd+bs] Disco
[bs] Disco disco duck
[dd] All right
[bs] Disco disco duck
[dd] Ah get down mama, oh mama shake your tail feathers, ha ha ha ha ha

When the music stopped I returned to my seat
But there's no stoppin' a duck and his beat
So I got back up to try my luck
Why look

[dd] Everybody's doin' the
[dd+bs] Disco, disco duck
[dd+bs] Disco, disco duck
[bs] Try your luck
[dd] Wave to me
[bs] Don't be a cluck
[dd] I'm so happy to be here
[bs] Disco
[ep] Thank you duck
[bs] Disco
[ep] For gettin' down
[bs] Disco disco disco
[ep] Thank you so very much
[bs] Disco duck
[dd] You're welcome
[bs] Disco Disco Duck
[bs] Try your luck, don't be a cluck, disco, disco, disco..

[dd=Donald Duck voice] [bs=background singers] [ep=Elvis voice]

Cool Reel Big Fish

She has a girlfriend now
She has a girlfriend now
She has a girlfriend now, she said
"Guys don't do no more for me"

"You never loved me, like i wanted you to"
(you never loved me, nooooo)
"I said I loved you baby, what do you want me to do?"
(what do you want me to do?)

She said she found someone who's gonna hold her hand
She said she found someone who's gonna understand
She don't need nobody to be her man
She don't need nobody to be her man

She has a girlfriend now
She has a girlfriend now
She has a girlfriend now, she said
"Guys don't do no more for me"

She said she found someone who's gonna hold her hand
She said she found someone who's gonna understand
She don't need nobody to be her man
She dont need nobody to be her man

She has a girlfriend now
She has a girlfriend now
She has a girlfriend now, she said
"Guys don't do no more for me"

Well I never thought it would end like this
Just because I've got no tits
I'll shave my legs
I'll wear a bra
I'd even cut my penis off for you
(oh, that's so sweet!)

She has a girlfriend now
(She has a girlfriend now)
She has a girlfriend now
(She has a girlfriend now)
She has a girlfriend now
(She has a girlfriend now)
She has a girlfriend now
She Has A Girlfriend Now
Woah, yea

You know, I never realized it before, but that is a bit obsessive, isn't it?
I've never tried it, but I'd guess rap for cleaning the cat box, country & western for taking out the garbage, and sea shanties for cleaning the tub.
I've got some chainsaw work to do in the back yard in a couple of weeks, maybe I can borrow some of agent's jrocker music and see if that works...

I got babysat a lot, I mean a LOT in the late 70's. My aunties were 13, 11 & 7 years older than me, and we'd make popcorn, watch Love Boat & Fantasy Island, and then turn off the TV & clean the apartment for my mom, and they would sing & dance along, and conversely, teach me. Then I'd get a bath & go to bed.

Here are some songs that remind me of rockin' out in my diaper (and motivate me to clean):

Boogie Nights
Disco Duck
The Hustle
Shadow Dancing
Don't Leave Me This Way
Boogie Oogie Oogie
You Make Me Feel Like Dancing
Night Fever
December 1963
Dancing Queen
Disco Inferno
Shake Your Groove Thang

eta--how the **** could I forget Stayin Alive?
