This morning, on my way to work the wind was playing tag with me. First it was blowing a plastic bag to match my speed: the bag was moving along the pavement with me. Then it got bored, snatched the bag up in the air and blew it about ten-fifteen metres in front of me, and the plastic bag danced in little circles, waiting for me to catch up with it. When I finally got there, it flew up in the air and away.

In my defence I must admit I had never much liked any kind of domestic fowl but these are really amazing.

The beaks of some of these creatures are disturbingly resemblant to the nails of some lady Ive seen in the tram today.

I saw an older guy with white hair peeing next to his car on the highway with his equally white haired wife who was holding an umbrella over his head. True love!

ONE YEAR RETROSPECTIVE Last September, we launched the T-SQUAT art and photography sections by flicking around a few requests to our mates asking them to submit their work. One year, hundreds of emails and a thousand cups of tea later, we now have one of the most comprehensive and striking collections of contemporary art and photography anywhere on the internet. We have featured many of the biggest names in the art world, and have provided a platform for lesser known artists to gain exposure and rub digital shoulders with their artistic heroes. Here, we present our one year retrospective: a hand picked selection of our favourites, a visual smorgasbord of styles, techniques and influences, an aesthetic buffet of inspiration, a treasure trove of ideas and a showcase of sublime expression ...

Better than Van Gogh: NASA visualizes all the world's ocean currents

Dunno if I'd say it's better than Starry Night, but it certainly is beautiful, and quite surprising in spots.
